Sankat Nashan Ganesha Stotram



Lord Ganesh is known as the lord who removes obstacles hence prayed before any puja , vrat or homam to ensure successful completion and fruitful results.

Ganesha governs the muladhara chakra ( root of kundalini). This chakra is base for the 3 nadis ida pingala and sushma , vital for life. It is responsible for  health, prosperity, security, dynamic presence as well the need to to strive for family life.Imbalance of this chakra gives Weight-loss/gain, over or under active sex drive, poor immune system, anemia, depression, laziness, irritable bowel syndrome , lack of stamina,focus, discipline.

To balance this chakra prayers to ganesh can be offfered.

Sankata Nashan Ganesha Stotram is  from the Narada Purana  . It is one of the most effective Stotra  of Lord Ganesh. It eliminates all sorts of problems be it marriage, lovelife, education, wealth, job business.  Chanting this Stotra daily eradicates all types of tribulations and gives a happy life.

 This vrat is done to appease the goddess in vaibhav lakshmi avatar and get her blessing in all areas of life.

Many years ago in a big city where people were totally busy engaged in their own personal worldly affairs void of  holy devotion, benevolence, sympathy and affection . Wine and gambling, race and speculation, illicit relations and various  misdeeds were done by them

Background

This stotram is  the ‘King of Slokas’. It is believed to be taught to Goddess Parvathi by Lord Shiva Himself. It can nullify all forms of the evil forces including the wicked effects of black magic , ghosts & demons ,evil eye and protect the devotees and their families like a strong armor (Kavacha). At same time removes one's past bad karmas of current and previous life and blesses them with prosperity.

Kanakadhara Stotram

This stotra is dedicated to goddess MAHALAKSHMI.


It was composed by the great sage Adi Sankaracharya in the 8th century.
